How To Flash HTC Stock Firmware / ROM

Mainly two type htc firmware available

1. RUU exe file

2. Zip file

HTC RUU file flashing Method

Flashing HTC Stock Firmware (RUU Files)
1. Download and install HTC USB driver on your computer.
2. Download the RUU firmware for your HTC device on your hard drive.
3. Turn off your HTC device and connect it to your computer via USB cable.
4. Double-click on the .EXE file of the RUU firmware you downloaded. Follow the simple     instructions accordingly as you see on your screen
5. Click on Finish button and the HTC device will reboot.

Some HTC devices which require you to boot them in Fastboot mode otherwise they won’t be recognized by your computer even after installing USB driver. follow this method

1. Download and install HTC USB driver on your computer.
2. Download the RUU firmware for your HTC device on your hard drive.
3. Turn off your HTC device.
4. Hold the Volume Down key and press the Power key for the device to boot.
5. A menu will appear on the screen. Select Fastboot or Download mode option using Volume button for navigation and Power button for selection.
6. Now, connect your device to your computer via USB cable and run the RUU firmware file again. Complete the installation wizard.  click on finish. enjoy!!

HTC ZIP file Flashing / Update with SD Card

HTC zip format file flashing guide via SD Card:
1. Download correct suitable firmware for your device like   (0PGZIMG_A50ML_DTUL_L50_DESIRE_SENSE70_hTC_Asia_TW_1.20.709)
2. Format SD card
3. Rename download firmware like ( xxxxIMG )
4. Copy xxxxxxx.zip file into sd card
5. Power off your htc mobile
6. Insert sd card into your mobile
7. Boot your mobile into bootloader mode by pressing volume minus & power key
8. Start the flashing process automatically by press volume /pwr key

Flash HTC Stock Firmware Via SP Flash Tool

SP Flash Tool (only for MTK Chip set devices)

1.  Download & install SP Flash tool and mtk driver (download from here)
2.  Run  SP Flash_tool.exe
3.  Click on Scatter-loading, find and locate the HTC Scatter File and press Open.
4.  Click on Download button.
5.  Turn off your HTC device. Remove the battery (if removable)
6.  Connect your HTC to PC via USB cable.
7.  If drivers are ok then flash process automatically starts
