How to Install Stock Firmware on Huawei / Honor Devices

Requirements before flashing:

• Keep your phone’s battery at least 50%
• SD card 4GB or more
• Unlock Bootloader of Huawei Smartphones and Tablets: (If needed)
• Stock Rom for your device: Firmware
• Internet availability
• Download the latest version of HiSuite software (Huawei PC Suite)

Method 1

Flash Huawei stock Firmware Via dload method.

1. Download the full firmware for your model (download from here)
2. Create a new folder and rename it to "dload" ( phone storage / SD card / OTG )
3. Copy "update.app" file to the "dload" folder.
4. Power off your Huawei phone. battery above 50% needed
5. Hold three button together  (volume up, volume down ,power button )
6. Your phone will start the updating process automatically.
7. Update process is successful, your device will restart automatically

Method 2

Normal update
Flash Huawei stock Firmware Via Normal Update

1. Create a new folder and rename it to dload (phone storage or SD card)
2. Download & extract Huawei firmware & copy the UPDATE.APP file on dload folder
3. Goto dialer and  type   *#*#2846579#*#*
4. Project Menu => Software Upgrade => SD Card Upgrade => OK
5. Select the  copied Update.app (phone storage / SD card )
6. Wait until the installation process complete.
7. When the installation complete, the phone will be restart automatically
8. If you have the Data File and you want to flash it too same method

Method 3

Updater
Flash Huawei stock Firmware Via Updater

1.  Download & extract Huawei Stock firmware & copy the UPDATE.APP file on your internal storage or in your SD card.
2.  In your device Go to:   Settings => System => System update => Then click on the 3 Dots at the top right corner
3.  Tap on Local update, and select the UPDATE.APP file You downloading
4.  Device will begin updating.
5.  wait 5 minutes.. enjoy

Method 4

HiSuite
Flash Huawei stock Firmware Via HiSuite software

1.  Download & Install new HiSuite software. (download from here)
2.  Run HiSuite software & Connect your device to PC with USB cable
3.  In your Huawei phone Go to: Settings > Search for HDB => Turn on Allow HiSuite to use HD
4.  Huawei device connected to HiSuite successfully, Click on Update button
5.  Your device Runs the latest Update, You’re now using the latest official version.
6.  If you want to downgrade your device Huawei phone from EMUI 10 to EMUI 9.0 or Huawei phone from EMUI 9.0 to EMUI 8.0… (Click on Switch of Others Versions)
7.  Click on Restore
8.  Downgrading device will erase all your data. So, you need to backup your phone data. then click on Continue.
9.  Wait until the process complete.

Method 5

SP Flash Tool (only for MTK Chipset)

1.  Download & install SP Flash tool and mtk driver (download from here)
2.  Run Flash_tool.exe:
3.  Click on Scatter-loading, find and locate the Huawei Scatter File and press Open.
4.  Click on Download button.
5.  Turn off your Huawei device. Remove the battery (if removable)
6.  Connect your Huawei to PC via USB cable.
7.  If drivers are ok then flash process automatically starts

Method 6

spd upgrade tool (only for spreadrum /unisoc chipset)

1.  Download your correct .pac firmware
2.  Install spd driver
3.  Run tool (download spd upgrade tool from here)
4.  Click on load packet
5.  Locate .pac firmware folder
6.  Start download button,

Method 7

TWRP Recovery

1.  Create a new folder name as" dload "
2.  Download Huawei Stock firmware & copy the update.zip & Data File update.zip on dload folder
3.  Power off your Huawei device.
4.  Press volume up and power button at the same to enter to custom recovery TWRP
5.  Go to install, locate the " update.zip " file and flash it.
6.  locate the “ Data File update.zip ” and flash it too.
7.  If update process is completed, Click on the “Wipe cache/dalvik” to clean the stock ROM
8.  Reboot device.
